If
you are like many people, having animals that constantly
damage your screens can be quite frustrating and
costly. However, not all is lost. You'll
be happy to know that there are a couple of things that
can be done to alleviate damage caused by
animals.
Your
First Option: Pet Mesh
The
first option that we recommend would be to use pet mesh in those screens that are subject to
abuse by your pet. The pet mesh is very
durable and will last a considerable longer time than
conventional screening. Pet mesh is not much more
in cost over regular screens especially when taking into
account that it will last quite a bit longer.
What
Makes Pet Mesh So Much Better?
Pet
mesh is a fiber which is coated with PVC. The actual
strands that make up the mesh are much larger than
conventional mesh. The PVC coating is what protects the
mesh from potential rips or tears caused by clawing or
climbing.
Can
I Order A Screen From You?
Yes,
you can get screens from us. However, due to
shipping constraints we ship screens custom cut to
your size, unassembled. The maximum
size of any one side of the screen can be no greater
than 52". Once receiving the kit you'll have to assemble
the screen and spline in the mesh which is fairly easy
to do.
All
kits will come complete with easy to follow instructions
and includes

I
Already Have A Screen Frame. Can I Just Order
The
Pet Mesh?
The
answer is yes. You can purchase just the
mesh. It's sold by the linear foot and comes in
widths of 36", 40" and 60". Just provide us with the width and length you
desire. The mesh comes with a spline and a
splining tool.

Changing
Your Pet's Behavior Is Essential
The
second option found to be effective is to
use a Scat Mat. This mat approved by veterinarians
and animal behaviorist provides the animal with a static
pulse when stepped on. It makes it unpleasant for
animals to stand on or cross. It is a safe &
effective way to change your animals behavior. For more information
